One of a series of bronzes sculpted and cast by Max Le Verrier
Le Verrier opened his own studio in 1919 and won a medal at the famed 1925 Exposition in Paris that gave "Art Deco" its name. Later, he established a foundry that cast bronze sculptures for Pierre Le Faguays and Marcel Bourain, among others.
